Santa Cruz County Homeschool Support Groups & PSP's
The most important thing for homeschool success is to surround yourself with like-minded
people who share information and resources, answer your questions, and ease your concerns.
Your local Homeschool Support Group is where you can get connected with other homeschooling
families. To find a Homeschool Support Group near you, simply click on the county where you
reside from the list below.
IMPORTANT:
This directory is divided into two sections. The first section lists Homeschool Support
Groups, and the second section lists Private School Satellite Programs or PSPs (formerly
called "ISPs").
What's the difference?
In general, Homeschool Support Groups are gatherings of homeschool families who get together
for park days and may also organize some field trips and co-op classes. (Some of these groups
require a small membership fee, most do not.)
PSPs are small private schools. Homeschool families enroll (paying a tuition fee) to receive
administrative support; such as record keeping, transcripts and testing.
We provide listings for Support Groups for free. We charge a small fee to list PSPs.

Homecruzers - HomeCruzers is an inclusive group for All homeschooling families regardless of homeschooling method or religion. We are committed to being a source of support, providing homeschooling information, socialization, and educational opportunities in a fun environment. We offer weekly park days, monthly field trips, nature walks, local events, arts and crafts, mom's night out, family outings, and so much more. Monterey Bay Unschooling Network - An all-inclusive network for Monterey Bay area unschoolers. Contact information: Email Annie Twist Lubke. Santa Cruz Christian Homeschoolers - An online support group for parents in Santa Cruz County. We welcome Christians of all denominations. We offer online support, announcements of events of interest to homeschoolers, a forum for exchanging homeschool materials locally, field trips that members post, park gatherings and of course prayer requests are always welcome. Membership is free. Santa Cruz County Homeschool Parent Support Group - Free, inclusive Homeschool Parent Support Group for adults and babies in arms. We meet on the second Monday of every month (12 times a year) from 7-9 pm at the Discovery Learning Center, 411 Roxas St., Santa Cruz, in order to share our joys and challenges in homeschooling.
