Orange County Homeschool Support Groups & PSP's
The most important thing for homeschool success is to surround yourself with like-minded
people who share information and resources, answer your questions, and ease your concerns.
Your local Homeschool Support Group is where you can get connected with other homeschooling
families. To find a Homeschool Support Group near you, simply click on the county where you
reside from the list below.
IMPORTANT:
This directory is divided into two sections. The first section lists Homeschool Support
Groups, and the second section lists Private School Satellite Programs or PSPs (formerly
called "ISPs").
What's the difference?
In general, Homeschool Support Groups are gatherings of homeschool families who get together
for park days and may also organize some field trips and co-op classes. (Some of these groups
require a small membership fee, most do not.)
PSPs are small private schools. Homeschool families enroll (paying a tuition fee) to receive
administrative support; such as record keeping, transcripts and testing.
We provide listings for Support Groups for free. We charge a small fee to list PSPs.

DragonTree Home Learners - This inclusive, diverse, non-directed support group meets weekly in El Dorado Park in Long Beach on Wednesday afternoons for play and conversation with kids of all ages from toddlers to teens. Founded as an unschooling support group, all homeschoolers are welcome. Our primary goal is to provide plenty of freedom for our children to develop their own games, make complex
creations, explore new relationships, and develop close friendships. Meet for fun, discussion, support, occasional activities or field trips. Contact information: Email Cheryl Ahia. Homeschooling in Orange County - Offers information, resources and support for homeschoolers throughout Orange County. HomeschoolingTnT - Homeschooling Teens 'n Tweens, formerly RKSoCalTeens, is a diverse group of homeschooled teens, tweens and their parents located in Southern CA who gather for dances, field trips, camp-outs, movies and other fun events. We welcome all homeschool teens, tweens and their families, new and old, regardless of race, religion, lifestyle, or homeschool style. Contact information: Email Sharon. OC Homeschool Events - This group is for events and activities that may be of interest to homeschooling families in and around Orange County. Everyone is permitted to post their findings or start a group to attend an event. There are so many great things to do here and this is a great group to get together enough people for a group discount. Orange County Christian Homeschool Group - We are a group of like-minded Christian homeschoolers who love and trust The Lord. If you love Jesus and are seeking fellowship and fun, come join us! We schedule field trips, park days, potlucks, and other fun events! This is a relatively new group (as of Feb 2014) and we are looking for families who are committed to building a community! RK So Cal Teens - We are homeschooled teens and their parents who gather in and around Orange County, CA; for beach parties, dances, pizza nights, campouts, Disneyland trips, and other events. We welcome all homeschoolers regardless of race, religion, homeschool style, what you eat, or what time you get out of bed. RK SoCal Teens is an offshoot of Rainbow Kids. of homeschoolers who live primarily in South Orange County, CA. Our group
sponsors member hosted weekly park days, member hosted field trips, and
member hosted special events/activities (i.e. book clubs, Discovery Days,

South Coast Christian Home Educators - A support group of over 100 families, located primarily in the southern Orange County area. We aim to provide support and encouragement to each other through various social, spiritual and educational events. Members can access a private website where field trips, ideas, events, advice and so on are freely discussed. West OC Homeschool Group [WESTOC-HS] - Over 260 homeschool families that share curriculum ideas, weekly park days, field trips, support, and friendship. We are diverse in our methods of homeschooling and always happy to help new homeschool families. We have been offering support to homeschoolers since 2003. All age groups represented.
