As a homeschooler on a tight budget, this is the resource you need to get more for your money.

In 1991, when I began homeschooling my sons, many textbook suppliers wouldn't sell books to individual homeschoolers. Now, just 14 years later, we have co-op purchasing power!

The Homeschool Buyers Co-op is a free resource whose mission is to make homeschooling more affordable. They negotiate discounts for educational products and services on behalf of their members. Although this is a new organization, they are off to great start with discounts from the likes of Dell, Academic Superstore, Bright Minds, Home Education Magazine, and others.

The Co-op covers their expenses by charging advertising fees from the very suppliers who offer discounts! So membership is free, and they don't share your personal information with others. What a deal!
