Hands-on exhibits for the family in art, nature, and multi-media.
Especially for kids 10 and under. BADM offers "Homeschooling Days"
throughout the year when admission is reduced. The integrated curriculum
uses ceramics, multi-media projects, computer animation, and night hikes
to teach lessons based on the California State Curriculum Standards.

One of the best! Museum of science, art and human perception. Over
650 hands-on exhibits that create innovative learning environments
-- and lots of fun for the family. Free admission on first Wednesday
of each month; however, due to capacity limits, groups of 10 or more
are required to make reservations or will not be admitted.

The Museum has a toy-lending library! Back to the Farm exhibit lets

fish pond, don farm animal costumes, ride on a John Deere tractor
and more.

The Tech features hands-on, imaginative, high-tech exhibits showcasing
emerging technologies of the present and future. Cyberspace, biotech,
microtech, and other "new worlds".

Zeum, located in Yerba Buena gardens is S.F.'s new art and technology
center where kids and teens get hands-on experience producing the
arts, whether it's filming an animation, producing a video, web-casting
or working the lights in a state-of-the-art theater. Cool! Also, The
Rooftop located here offers rides on the historic Charles Looff carousel,
a bowling alley and ice skating.
